The Evo IT Holding is pleased to announce that Helmut Winhofer has taken on the role of Managing Director of Evolit Switzerland AG, effective immediately. In this new position, he will be responsible for the continued development and strategic expansion of Evolit’s Swiss operations.

Winhofer has been part of Evolit since 2021. As Head of Department, he played a key role in product management and in the ongoing development of the smartTOS Terminal Operating System. He led cross-functional teams and advanced customer-centric solutions for complex application areas.

Before joining Evolit, Helmut Winhofer held roles such as Head of IT and Digital Customer Services at Wiener Linien and CTO at Upstream Mobility. In these positions, he combined deep technical expertise with strategic thinking, establishing himself as a leader at the intersection of technology, public infrastructure, and digital transformation.
